The Poison Lurking In Your Water Bottle

The research by world expert Dr William Shotyk - who has vowed never to drink bottled water again - will be published in the Royal Society of Chemistry's journal next month. It is sure to revive concerns about the safety of bottled water, the world's fastest-growing drinks industry, worth £1.2billion a year.

Professor Shotyk, of Heidelberg University in Germany, said: "I don't want to shock people but here's what I know: Antimony is being continuously released into bottled drinking water. The water in PET (polyethylene terephthalate) bottles is contaminated."

He tested ground water and 15 types of bottled mineral water in his native Canada. The ground water contained two parts per trillion (ppt) of antimony. Bottled water had an average 160 ppt of antimony when opened immediately after bottling. But ground water stored in a PET plastic bottle had 630 ppt of antimony when opened six months later.

Dr. Johnson's Comment: I personally talked to Dr. Shotyk by phone to confirm this information. Bear in mind that this information applies to PET Water bottles with a recyclable rating of "1". If you look at the bottom of a typical water bottle you will see the number "1" with arrows around it in a triangle formation. This means that the plastic is designed for one use. In our conversation he confirmed to me that he was planning on testing other plastic containers that are rated at higher numbers. Theoretically these should be safer and I will let you know what his findings are when they are released. After emailing Dr. Shotek he personally called me within hours to share this information me, so I really was impressed with this gracious researcher.

Exposure to high levels of antimony damages the heart, lungs, gastrointestinal tract, liver and blood of humans and laboratory animals. Studies in industrial workers who were exposed to high air levels of antimony compounds over long periods of time reported gastrointestinal disturbances such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting, ulcers, altered electrocardiogram (heart) readings and increased blood pressure. Breathing antimony causes lung cancer in laboratory animals. Whether eating antimony causes cancer in humans or laboratory animals is unknown.

BIRD FLU OR WEAPONS GRADE FLU?

Researchers comparing the original H1N1 avian genome with the mutated H3N2 Fort Riley strain that caused the Spanish flu pandemic of 1918-19 with the Chinese H5N1 strain believe that while they are completely different strains of virus, they share some virulent characteristics. Dr. Donald Burke, MD at Johns Hopkins University said the "viral chatter" about similar traits suggest there may be something very sinister just around the corner. Based on what the scientific community would like us to believe is mere speculation, the CDC believes that H5N1 will mutate into an airborne influenza virus.

The CDC's supposition is based on two premises. First, it claims that H5N1 is almost a clone of the H3N2 Spanish flu virus that killed 40 million people. In point of fact, while the two viral strains share at least two similarities, they are completely different viruses. Both began as avian viruses that were transmitted by ingestion. And, both H3N2 and H5N1 appear to have mutated from an avian virus, H1N1.

Second, studies done by the CDC, the US Army's Institute of Pathology and Mt. Sinai School of Medicine maintain that all known influenza viruses originate from avian viral strains. A recent CDC report noted that the 1918 Spanish Flu (also known as "La Grippe") contaminated pigs through a mechanism known as genetic drift as the pigs ingested infected chicken droppings. The virus, which initially was transferred through ingestion of infected droppings, ultimately mutated into an airborne flu virus. For that reason, the CDC is convinced that, ultimately, the same thing will happen with H5N1.

Vaccines Show Sinister Side

If two dozen once-jittery mice at UBC are telling the truth postmortem, the world's governments may soon be facing one heck of a lawsuit. New, so-far-unpublished research led by Vancouver neuroscientist Chris Shaw shows a link between the aluminum hydroxide used in vaccines, and symptoms associated with Parkinson's, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease), and Alzheimer's.

Enzymes to Help With Digestion

Most raw food, like our bodies, is very perishable. When raw foods are exposed to temperatures above 116 degrees, they start to rapidly break down, just as our bodies would if we had a fever that high. Once enzymes are exposed to heat, they are no longer able to provide the function for which they were designed. Daily we are being barraged with reports that the avian bird flu is going to jump the species barrier and go human-to-human. When it does, say the experts, billions of people could become infected and millions could die from the pandemic.

If you stopped and told most people that the federal government is preparing to forcefully quarantine millions of Americans in specially built detention centers on closed military bases during a flu pandemic, they would think you're crazy. Well, this scenario is no longer a sci-fi story for the X-Files. The scenario is real and the plans are in place to do this. U.S. Eliminates State-Mandated Food Labeling

The U.S. House recently approved the National Uniformity for Food Act, a bill intended to override state laws on food safety labeling. The U.S. National Uniformity for Food Act overrides state laws warning you about food ingredients that can cause cancer, birth defects, and other health problems. It would effectively eliminate more than 200 state laws, including tough California rules requiring food producers to warn consumers about carcinogenic ingredients.

Critics have complained that the bill was rushed through without complete hearings, as a favor to the food industry. The House voted down measures that would have allowed states to keep labels warning consumers about ingredients that could cause cancer, birth defects, or reproductive health problems, and the use of carbon monoxide to treat meat.

Rechargeable Cordless Handsets 100 Times Worse Than Mobiles

Having a cordless phone in your house can be 100 times more of a health risk than using a mobile. The popular phones constantly blast out high levels of radiation - even when they are not in use. Landlines are widely thought a safer option than mobiles. But researchers in Sweden now warn cordless phones are far more likely to cause brain tumors than today's mobiles.

Emissions from a cordless phone's charger can be as high as six volts per meter - twice as strong as those found with a 100 meters of mobile masts. Two meters away from the charger the radiation is still as high as 2.5 volts per meter - that's 50 times what scientists regard as a safe level. At a meter away the danger is multiplied 120 times - and it only drops to a safe 0.05 volts per meter when you are 100 meters away from the phone. Because of the way cordless phones work, the charger constantly emits radiation at full strength even when the phone is not in use - and so does the handset when it is off the charger.

The most common cancers caused by such radiation are leukemia’s. But breast cancer, brain tumors, insomnia, headaches and erratic behavior in kids have also been linked. Those with chargers close to their beds are subjected to radiation while they sleep.
